    Photovoltaic panel recycling

    Hassle-free disposal of end-of-life photovoltaic panels. Your photovoltaic panels have worked for years: now that they have reached the end of their life, we take care of them.

    We organise the technical inspection, safe decommissioning and dismantling, authorised collection and transport, and delivery to our plants authorised for WEEE treatment or to certified partners. We also handle all the paperwork: documents for the GSE (Italy's energy services operator), the procedures required by law, and support with the refund of up to €20 per module, where applicable.

    We work throughout Italy, with qualified technicians and suitable vehicles.

    Recovery at zero cost: you only pay a contribution towards transport costs, calculated on the basis of quantity, type of material and collection location.

    What the service includes

    • Technical inspection: we assess the system, the number of modules and the access conditions.
    • Safe decommissioning and dismantling of the modules and mounting structures.
    • Packing and loading to prevent breakage and loss of material.
    • Authorised transport with a regular waste form.
    • Treatment and recovery at our authorised plant or at certified partners.
    • Procedures and documentation: FIR, WEEE certificate and documents for the GSE.

    Who it is for

    Owners of photovoltaic systems, farms and agrivoltaic plants, installers and EPC contractors, management and O&M companies, businesses with systems on industrial rooftops, and private individuals with residential systems.

    What we recover from a module

    An end-of-life photovoltaic module is made almost entirely of recoverable materials: glass, aluminium from the frames, copper from the conductors, silicon from the cells and plastics. In our plant they are separated and sent for reuse.

    When to act

    • End of life: the system has completed its production cycle.
    • Revamping and repowering: the modules are replaced with more efficient technologies.
    • Damage and weather events: hail, fire or other events.
    • Manufacturing defects: batches replaced under warranty.
